Are the Cure playing the Stunning Sydney Opera House between May 27th and June 5th?
We shall see, but Mess and Noise, a local Sydney music magazine/site seems to think so.
There are strong indications that The Cure will be imminently announced as the “secret” act for Vivid LIVE.
Now, we know what you’re thinking, they’re not on Modular, right? But the news has been gaining enough momentum on Twitter and the M+N discussion board for us to think it’s more than just a few posters stirring the pot. Not only that, but event curator Stephen “Pav” Pavlovic played The Cure’s ‘A Forest’ on FBi Radio yesterday among a clutch of tracks by Vivid LIVE acts including Azari & III, The Crystal Ark, Wu Lyf and new Modular signing Dom. Make of that what you will.
